Price Increases at Wendy's from 2002 to 2013

The drive-thru photos below are from 2002 and 2013. They are literally a snap shot of the food prices at Wendy's, and illustrate the price increases in that time period. Please scroll down past the images to read my summary of the changes and an analysis.

The Wendy's Single went up $1.64, a 73% increase.

The Baked Potato went up 30¢, which seems like nothing compared to everything else.

The Frostys went up 0¢-50¢, with tiny dollar frosties taking the place of traditional small frosties.

The Chili went up 50¢, either size. That's a big increase on the price of the small, not so big on the large.

The price increases at Wendy's are wide-ranging. Increases on the Large chili and baked potato were moderate, the burgers went up a lot, especially the Wendy's Single (73% increase in price). Other changes to their menu include chicken nuggets and the "Baconator" line of burgers, as well as a full spectrum of coffee drinks.
