Disneyland Food Menu Signs
Photos of Menu Signs from 2011-2019
By Rob Cockerham |
Disneyland and California Adventure have a bunch of unique little menu signs throughout the parks. They are clean, nicely designed and legibile.
I tend to snap photos of them, and now I can look back and see how the style has evolved over the last eight years. In some cases, the prices have evolved as well.
2011
I really enjoyed the $3 hot cocoa at this stand in California Adventure. I still remember it many years later.
Here is half of the sign at the Stage Door cafe in Disneyland. I remember being appalled at the price of a $7.19 corn dog, but I've enjoyed a few more expensive ones since I took this photo in 2011.
Ice Cream Bar $5.25. Frozen Lemonade $4.25, Cotton Candy $4.
And of course the entrance sign, Disneyland tickets were $80/day for adults in 2011. I believe these signs are electronic monitors now, in 2019.
I guess Disneyland's Ice Cream signs aren't unique. A few carts share this design. Fruit Bar $4.25, Ice Cream Bars $4.25, Ice Cream Sandwich $4.50.
This is half of the sign at Cocina Cucamonga in California Adventure, circa 2011. Meals were $10, $11 and $12. Cokes were $3 and $3.50
2013
The Hot Dog cart outside of Cars Land. $6.75.
In Disneyland, the Frozen Lemonade was still $4.25, Dreyer's Dibs $5.25 and cotton candy $4.
2014
A year and a half later, in 2014, I went back for more menu photos.
Churros were $4 and Cokes were $3.25.
In Disneyland, outside of the center circle, Coffee and Hot Chocolate were still $3, but the travel mug was up to $6.75
Churros were $4 in Disneyland too.
Dibs were up to $5.50, Ice Cream bars were $5.50 and cotton candy had eked up to $4.25.
Adult tickets had risen 20% in three years to $96 a day. Premium Annual passports had jumped from $499 to $699.
In 2014 the frozen treat menu had edged up 25 cents per item.
Popcorn Prices were $4.25 and $5.25.
Ice Cream was $3.69 and $4.19.
The Cars Land Hot Dog price had risen a bit to $7.25.
2019
In 2019, Coffee and Hot Chocolate had boiled up to $3.25, and the travel mug had traveled up to $8.00. The Frozen Lemonade was up from $4.25 to $6.
Oh, no, wait. This fruit stand outside of Red Rose Tavern offered slightly lower prices.
2019: Fruit Bar $4.75, Ice Cream Bars $5.25, Frozen Banana $5. Ice Cream Sandwich $5.00. The Frozen Treats display also now features a $4.25 Olaf Frozen Lemonade Strawberry bar.
Ok, so I didn't mean to snag this photo of the menu at Award Wieners, but you can see in the detail that the Mini Dog is $7.49 and the custom dogs are in the $9.75 range.
Cocina Cucumonga has a new set of selections, in the $13-$15 range. Cokes are a dollar more, at $3.99 and $4.19.
The stylized hot dog sign in California Adventure has bumped up to $8, and now it shares the spotlight with ears of corn for $5.50.
Here are some photos inside the Red Rose Taverne. These video screens will be easier to update.
The Red Rose Kid's Meal menu, circa 2019.
No menu photos, but I'd also like to note that churros were $5 each, and corn dogs were $10 in 2019.
