My Illustrated World of Warcraft Diary: Day 17 - The Joy of Auctions

Well, I lost track of which day I did what, so let me try to summarize here:
Looked a little more for the missing Guards.
Followed two different wolf-and-bear hunters around near the lumber outpost, skinning dozens of beasts in their wake.
Put some items up for bid, including specifying some buy-it-now prices and some low-ball auctions.
Traveled all the way around the ring-shaped Cairn island, looking for the missing guards. stalked and killed most of the defiant rogue wizards on the island, but did not find the corpses. Also ventured to the area north of the island, to fight a ton of tough "outrunner" beasts.

It is now always tempting to walk all the way to Stormwind to sell my junk, because it seems like it will go for more money at auction in the city. I am always assessing the mini-treasures that I find, wondering which things are currently being sought after by desperate quest-fulfillers.

Since I heard that "stack of leather" guy the other day, I've been resisting selling my leather, because I realize that other players need it to use their tailoring skills.

Also, I spotted that canvas bags are for sale at the auction house, and I bought one for 10 silver. This will increase my ability to pick everything up and sell it. I now have a backpack and three bags, and I am really happy about it. Reducing my need to come back to a city is going to be a big time saver.
