Cockeyed.com Sculpture Auction: The Money You Could Be Saving with Geico

One of the tricks to becoming a fine sculptor is to use the finest materials. They don't come cheap.

For example, the foundation of this Money you Could be Saving with Geico sculpture was $205.

For the eyes, I'd need a hidden structure to hold them in place.

I used the firm, yet flexible vacuum-formed plastic from some carded hardware.

The large googley eyes were surprisingly easy to find at a craft store. A single drop of super glue centered the pupils permanently.

The clear plastic bracket is only visible from the back. It slipped under the money band and sits firmly in place.

Its just cockeyed enough to give it a little personality.

The finished product.

So, we took a bunch of wacky pictures with him, and now its time to find him a new home. He is now on ebay:

Television star or not, would you want this thing watching your kids?
