Once my video was finished, I began taking notes. I counted cars that stopped and cars that just rolled slowly through. |
In my notes, I kept track of every car, identifying them by body-type, color and by the direction they entered the intersection. I started this project because I had a pretty good feeling that the majority of drivers would roll through. As I watched the tape, I began to see that my assumptions had been correct. No one was coming to a complete stop. |
The giveaway difference was in the rims. When the rims stopped rotating, the car was stopped fully. If not, the car was still rolling. |
After 12 minutes and 54 cars, I finally got to see a car come to a complete stop. I re-played the video to double check. Yep. A complete stop. |
