Jack in the Box Drive Thru Menu Prices, 2001 vs. 2020

I visit Jack in the Box about once per year. I don't choose their burgers.

2001 Burger Prices

1. Ultimate Cheeseburger: $2.99

The 2020 menu has crisp, small lettering, much like Carl's Jr's 2020 menu. The Spicy Sriracha is the newest burger on their main manu.

2020 Burger Prices

The combos in 2001. Tacos! Fish and Chips! I believe Jack in the Box was the first fast food restaurant to have twelve different combo meals. They will make anything a combo. Note that the last two combos don't have red ID numbers, probably because someone thought the numbers would never go above 10.

The meal combo numbers have all changed in the last 20 years. The most expensive combo at Jack in the Box 2020 is $8.59. Compare this to $11.69 for expensive combos at Carl's Jr. The combos also have calorie counts next to them (at least in California)

The Chicken Fajita Pita is my preferred item at Jack in the Box. They really have a lot of chicken options.

The chicken items at Jack in the Box have not quite doubled in price. I suspect that the teriyaki bowl and fajita pita have shrunk since 2001, allowing their price to stay somewhat stable compared to sandwich prices. Jack in the Box also has Chicken nuggets AND chicken strips.

Jack in the Box has a dozen sandwich choices and a dozen more sides and treats. Their menu used to categorize fry sizes as medium, jumbo and super scoop, but they dropped those names at some point.
