Splash Mountain is Disneyland's water flume ride. It is in Critter Country.
Here are some pictures of the in-log experience of Splash Mountain.
This first one is blurry, please ignore it.
A full log in Splash Mountain, ready for launch.
In the log, ready to depart!
Loggin'
Clicking up the wet ramp to the top of the flume.
The insane tangle of thorns at the bottom of the hill.
Above the boarding area.
In the flume.
Maybe a goose with a mint julip.
On the up ramp again.
Rainbow Ponds sign with round flowers.
Just before the drop.
Dancing animals, with spiderweb, disguised fire sprinkler and hidden camera.
Looking back down the log ramp.
Happy log riders.
Into the dark ride.
In the sunlight.
Medium wet after the log ride.
Another shot of the thorns.
This must be the second ramp.
Barrels of sorghum, molasses, cane syrup.
The flash reveals some imperfect paint in the depths of Splash Mountain.
Geese and frogs.
Looking up to see the hanging leaves situation.
I took a lot of these pictures.
Air duct.
Concealed duct.
A cutout in the fiberglas cave wall.
The thick grass on top of this fake mud wall is very impressive.
The overhanging mud cliffs.
Even more hanging willow branches.
Extra log holding area.
Backpack storage area.
Facing the conveyer belt up.
Foreshadowing the big drop.
Preparing to exit the log.
Rough water.
Looking at these pictures, in this nutty order, you might get the idea this is a 45 minute ride. It is a great ride, but it is not that long. It is over in a flash!
