I think there are hundreds of planners here, they scout potential targets. But any actual attacks would come from outside radicals not on a watch list who think they will come here and score 72 virgins for little work.
I am not "scared wait for it to happen" person but I think its possible and probably will happen again. They want to disrupt the elections .. take those same 19 people... on election day if 19 suicide bombers went to small town America cities with little security and blew themselves up at the voting places on the morning of the election, the way the media would jump on it would cause hundreds of thousands of people to not go to vote. That would indeed disrupt and possible cause the election to not take place on that day.
That is what amazes me about the Israelis, they see a bus get blown up then they go around the corner, get on another bus and go "wow, did you see that bus blow up?" If that happened here, Greyhound would go out of business, no one would ride a bus for 6 months and the Government would have to bail out all bus companies with a 2 billion dollar loan that would never get repaid.

I would guess that there are less than one hundred foreigners that have the intent coupled with the means to do something. However, if foreigners were so hell bent on terrorizing the United States we would have seen many more terrorist incidents on our soil since Sept. 11, which currently number zero. It is ridiculously easy to get on a bus with a bomb in your backpack or shoot up a target and then do away with yourself. Yet we have seen no such thing.
