McKinley Park in Sacramento is patrolled by a constant cycle of jogging athletes, but I felt safe as long as we weren't making too big a production of it.

It was done, and it looked great! Stacy and I snapped a few pictures and strolled nonchalantly away from the scene. 

I don't actually know how many picnics we saved from infestation, but if even one was spared, it had been worth it!
