Occasionally, it is useful to have access to sets of numbers, or sequences of letters. I tend to use them when I am setting up a mail-merge. It is pretty damn easy to create these lists with Excel or Filemaker or Quickbase, but if you don't have one of those programs, you might be tempted to create one of them by hand.
