Cavalcade of Baby Gifts!

Stacy and I were overjoyed to receive gifts for our new baby girl! Thank you internet!

Gifts began arriving March 29th.

Paul Telford, father of twins, sent this Koala Baby four-pack of receiving blankets!

Thanks Paul!

Tom Morrow of the Bangkok Atkinz chairs sent this incredibly soft Luxe Baby Blanket.

Thank you Tom! What a great blanket!

Mark and Tracey Leedom sent an Amazon gift certificate to use on a Boppy.

You didn't register for a Boppy. You NEED a Boppy!!!! Here's the $$$ for one. If you have some kind of moral objection to the Boppy, then spend it on something else (but the Boppy is your friend).

We disregarded their suggestion and spent it on cigars.

Thanks Mark and Tracey!

This photo is of the Koala Baby Sun crib sheet that Rachel Robertson sent from East Renfrewshire in Glasgow, Scotland.

How great is that? Scotland sheets for our princess.

Here is Stacy unwrapping a gift from Maya Collins.

The surprise and joy in Stacy's eyes is captured in this photo, although the joy in her nose and mouth is kinda blocked by her arm.

Yes! It is the very-much-needed and appreciated All-in-one baby healthcare kit!

Thanks Maya!

Laurel Groff sent this package.

A contoured changing pad! Thanks Laurel! Now we won't have to change diapers on the glass-top coffeetable.

The next day, more packages arrived.

Including this Simmons Baby Slumber mattress from Frank Chilese. That is quite a tall order from a brand name. Probably a more accurate name for any baby mattress is "eventual slumber".

Thanks Frank. That was literally too generous of you!

Frank also sent a yellow Waterproof Mattress pad. Not only is it pee-proof, it is already yellow! Thanks Frank!

Chris Baker sent this gift, a Bare-Basics Gift set. Awesome!

Thank you Chris!

Douglas Connors sent this Lilac Changing pad cover. This will probably be washed 100 times in the upcoming year. Thank you Douglas!

I snapped this photo of Stacy opening Steve Yonamine's gift. Look how the scissors handle encircles her nose.

Strange, eh?

Oh no! Double gift of Bare-Basics gift set!

Thanks Steve. We'll either return one of these (the other guys) or...

..use them both in baby skincare EMERGENCIES.

Kara Rumsey sent this Koala Baby Hooded towel set with a duckie theme.

Thanks Kara! We love it!

The huge warning on the back reads:

WARNING: KEEP THIS BAG AWAY FROM BABIES AND CHILDREN. DO NOT USE IN CRIB, BEDS, CARRIAGES OR PLAYPENS. THE THINK FILM MAY CLING TO NOSE AND MOUTH AND PREVENT BREATHING.

If there is one thing I've learned, babies come with a very large number of warning signs. Dang.

Adam Casey sent this yellow changing pad cover.

Adamcasey.net

thank you Adam!

And Tom sent a three-part funny-name baby bottom products kit from Isdera Corp. including Boudreaux's Butt Paste, Super Duper Diaper Doo and Flanders Buttocks Ointment.

Thank you to everyone that sent gifts and parental advice! It is all very much appreciated!
