I got into credit card debt when I was in College. Books, burritos and
beer.
Although my parents were paying the vast majority of my expenses, and the state of California was chipping in as well, I managed to rack up about $7,000 in debt by the time I had graduated. In retrospect, I should have worked more, or gotten a student loan to cover those expenses. It was horrible. The eye-opener was realizing I was paying out $100 a month, just for the interest. I had to struggle a few years to pay it off. I remember the day I mailed the last check: October 13th. Anyway, I was wondering, how did you accumulate all that credit card debt, and how high is it? |
