This auction is for advertising space on a New upcoming cockeyed.com webpage. The webpage will be called The Extremely Classy Historical Gallery of Ebay Curiosities, Part II, and it will be saturated with ads. The Extremely Classy Historical Gallery of Ebay Curiosities, Part II is the sequel to The Extremely Classy Historical Gallery of Ebay Curiosities, Part I, at http://www.cockeyed.com/ebay/dorky_auctions.html. It will have a similar look and feel, but when I say "feel", I mean "look". This is a menu page for 13 or 14 wacky auctions featured on Cockeyed.com in the last year, so it is sure to get plenty of attention and repeat visitors. One winning bidder will buy space for eleven ads total: Seven 16-word integrated text ads, three MASSIVE 976x640 Pixel Advertising Blocks, and one 330x250 pixel "tail gunner" ad. Ads will remain on the Classy Gallery page until August, 2005. Due to bandwidth limits, the ads may not be larger than 40 K each, which may result in low-resolution or "chunky looking" ad graphics. Three Large Blocks must be the SAME, repeated ad, not three different ads. All ads must link to the same place. Ads do not have to be acid green in color. Winning bidder must supply their own 16-word text ads and graphics. I can help with format, filesize and copywriting, but am not responsible for a whole advertising campaign. This is just an auction for ad space, like that guy's forehead. This saturation effect will definitely bring traffic to your website if you are the winning advertiser, however, a disproportionately large segment of those visitors will be "just passing through", or "had to look", or "Now I'm angry because I shouldn't have to look at this many ads when I'm online browsing my god-given internet", not real hot prospects for your product, service or message. Approximately 12,000 people will view the page, and all the ads, in the first week. I estimate that 0.6% - 70% of them, or 72 - 8,400 people will visit your advertised page in that first week. Traffic will slow considerably after that first week, which I just made up a term for: the "gold rush". Winning bidder must contact me within 2 days of the auction end, and strive to have ads to me by June 9th or the webpage may go up without ads. There will be one ad for fatwallet.com on the page too, but no google adwords. Some restrictions apply. The linked site can not be advertising any product that is illegal in California. It can not be a gambling site, nor an adult site. It cannot be offensive to schoolchildren. It can't be a matrix or pyramid. It can't be a site selling e-books, e-gold, e-loans or e-anything else. It cannot be an herbalife site, nor a recruiting site for a multi-level marketing company. I must receive payment before advertising will start. There is no shipping charge. Satisfaction guaranteed. Please send auction questions one at a time, instead of two- or three-part questions. I must receive payment before advertising will start. There is no shipping charge. Satisfaction guaranteed.
