Some people probably think it is tacky to sell something from a wedding, but damn it, I spent like 45 minutes painting "Just Married" onto this thing so it could be in that photograph, so I'm selling it on ebay. Besides, people rent stuff at weddings all the time, and there is no shame in that, right? This white foamcore heart is 20" tall and 24½" across, with silk roses hot-glued to the back. This heart contains no chocolate candies. |
Two of the roses have fallen off, so it looks kind of lopsided. but you could glue some new ones on there and it would be as good as new. If you are looking for the flowers that fell off, try I-80 between Stockton and Sacramento. Heh heh. This "Just Married" heart is perfect for the couple that wants a simple (and quiet) decoration on their escape car. The words "Just Married" are painted on, which, trust me, looks a lot better than printing something out on your computer. |
Note:
This photo was taken when the heart still had all of its roses, when
things were still perfect, still magical. Before the long, black road
opened up, and the harsh winds of that journey buffeted the heart like a
master silversmith.
Attaching it to the car is tricky, especially if you want it to survive at high speeds. We used string and packing tape. Even if your friends aren't getting married this year, I invite you to bid on this wonderful heart. It makes a great addition to any car, boat or watercraft. Not only is it elegant and decorative, it is 100% effective in preventing police officers from pulling your car over. |
