This auction is for these four boats.

They are made of lightweight blue styrofoam, glue and paint. They are very cute, float very well and should be able to withstand many years outside, floating on your pool or hot tub.

This blue one is a ferry boat. It is 17" long and 6" tall.

This red one is a tugboat, 20" long and 11" tall

Glued to the bottom of the boats is a bit of wood. This helped the boats make turns to the port side when they sit on moving water. The wooden slat has fallen off of the tugboat, and you may wish to pull them all off if their movement is unsatisfactory.

This yellow one is 20" long, has a 15½" wooden mast and a cloth sail. The sailboat has a strip of clear packing tape stuck to the side, which looks kind of funny, but if I take it off, it is probably going to take some paint with it.
The pleasure boat is 20" long and 8½" tall. This boat is probably the most fragile. Its wooden posts are hot-glued in place, which will be easily destroyed by children or intoxicated adults.

All of the boat bottoms are unpainted and flat. Each boat sits high in the water, with only one inch of the hull underwater. They won't roll over in the water unless you really force them, not even the tugboat.

The boats are used, dirty and have water spots. Some paint is worn off, and there are small chips out of the ferry's hull.

They are handmade and one of a kind.

It is important that these boats do not ever return to the California State Fair, so the winning bidder must agree to keep them out of Cal Expo in Sacramento for at least the next 15 years. They were used in the 2003 Alameda County Display, which you can read about at http://www.cockeyed.com/incredible/fair/2003/al1.html

The boats should not be resold to anyone inside California, nor given to anyone in California. If your address is in California, please email me before bidding so I can be sure you understand and can follow this important condition.

The shipping charge is $5 within the United States of America, $9 to Canada and $12 to the United Kingdom. I accept paypal, money orders and checks.

please email rob@cockeyed.com with any questions.
