At Cockeyed.com Customer Service is #8!Product Testimonial from Bryan and Tim |
On April 2nd, 2004, I was surfing Cockeyed.com during my history class. Being in need of new tee shirts, I checked out the cool Cockeyed logo tees. The Prank shirt caught my eye, and I knew I must have it. I immediately pressed the "Buy Now" button and attempted to insert money into the computer. Unfortunately, the computer did not accept American bills. After a brief moment of confusion and distress, I realized that I had to pay by Paypal. Unfortunately, due to a traumatic bear attack, I have no long-term memory and could not remember my Paypal ID and password. My friend Tim kindly allowed me to use his Paypal account to purchase the shirt. When I ordered the shirt, I emailed Rob from my personal email account and explained to him that I had ordered a shirt through my friend Tim’s Paypal account. I also sought favor with the great and mighty Mr. Cockerham by submitting the following request:

It seemed simple enough. And Rob seemed to understand:
I eagerly awaited the arrival of my soon-to-be most prized possession.
Several days later, the package arrived at Tim’s house, at the address given though Paypal. Tim contacted me and told me my shirt had arrived. I asked him to open it up and see if Rob had granted this favor. |
Indeed! Rob had signed the shirt. He had even personalized it… to Tim! |
I thought perhaps my friend Tim was tricking me. Surely the almighty Rob Cockerham was above human error. But when I saw the shirt for the first time, my heart was broken. It was, indeed, a Cockeyed.com prank shirt as I had requested. Alas, something was amiss. I turned the shirt over to check out the autograph. My worst fears were confirmed. It had been autographed by Rob, but not to me. I was crushed. I wanted to die. |
As a horrible cocktail of hormones and emotions flooded my teenage brain, I looked to the heavens and cursed the day of my birth. |
I consulted Tim, who always offers a unique perspective. He deduced that the shirt is white and paper is white, so maybe I could simply fix it with a piece of paper. This however proved to be neither durable nor stylish. |
This quick fix being a failure, I recognized that suicide was the only answer. |
Tim, ever the innovator, suggested
I simply contact Rob and explain the dilemma. Rob recognized his error and
replied:
This time, I sought to insure I received the correct t-shirt. We decided that an artist like Rob would do best with a pictorial reference.
You may ask, did any good come of this? Indeed, despite my resulting emotional breakdown, a shirt personalized to him overjoyed Tim. He has not been able to overcome this excitement and wears the shirt daily. He wants to express his eternal thanks to Rob for the free shirt, but it is not his size.
Check out his nice abs. Please send Bryan his new shirt!!
