Here is the crystallized background technique. This achieves a spiritual stained glass look.

This image combines the me label and a scratching out technique, obscuring the other person's face.

Unfortunately, my eye was attracted to the bright color and curve of the scratching out, making the intended subject secondary.

This photo uses a striking ripped technique, which, in this case, works very well.

The smashing pumpkins technique is my personal favorite.
