The answer is zero. These people don't commit suicide. They martyr themselves. 

Some people that commit suicide do it to punish themselves or those around them.

 Others do it because they feel their absence will benefit the world. People that die

trying to become martyrs are motivated by self-interest (e.g. fame, respect, or N virgins).

However, rewording the question to account for the martyrdom issue, my guess is 

several thousand with the capacity, and less than a dozen with the intent. You have 

to realize that these people were programmed to do what they did. Just as suicide 

is the act of the insane and desperate, self-inflicted martyrdom has its own characteristic

 psychology. People with low self-esteem are easily controlled by those that they perceive to 

be great. Thus there are any number of people with the psychological state that makes them 

susceptible to the requisite programming, and only a dozen or so people with the intent and 

requisite charisma to perform it. 

Under the right circumstances almost every human being on the planet has the capacity to kill,

 those that don't are actually the defective ones.
